Privacy Policy

SM Sutherland ("the App", available at sm.sutherland.ro) is a social-media scheduling service operated by SIMAC VIOREL Întreprindere Individuală (Romania). This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

1. Data we handle

Connected accounts: when you connect a social account, we store the access/refresh tokens issued by that platform and basic account info (account id, display name, avatar) needed to publish on your behalf.
Your content: the posts, captions and media you create in the App in order to publish or schedule them.
Newsletter subscribers (opt-in): if you use the App's lead-magnet feature, the name and email address that a person voluntarily submits, together with their consent timestamp, using a double opt-in confirmation.

2. How we use it

Tokens and account info are used solely to publish the content you schedule to your own connected accounts. Subscriber emails are used solely to send the free guide the person requested. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

3. Storage & security

Access tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before being stored on our server. Data is kept only as long as needed to operate the service.

4. Third parties

The App interacts, through official APIs, with the platforms you connect (Meta / Facebook & Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Telegram) and uses Mailgun to deliver confirmation and guide emails. Data shared with each platform is limited to what is required to publish your content.

5. Your choices

You can disconnect any connected account at any time (in the App or in the platform's settings), which revokes the App's access. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time. To request deletion of your data, contact us.

6. Data deletion

You can delete your data at any time in either of these ways:

Disconnect an account: in the App go to Conexiuni (Connections) and click Deconectează (Disconnect) next to any connected account. This immediately deletes the stored access/refresh tokens and revokes the App's access to that account.
Delete your whole account and all data: email office@sutherland.ro from your account email with the subject "Delete my account". We erase your organization, connected accounts, posts and media within 30 days (usually sooner).
Facebook / Instagram: you can also remove SM from Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, which revokes access; then email us as above to erase any remaining stored data.
